Inertial Labs is a designer, developer, and manufacturer of position and orientation tracking systems based on the combination of inertial sensors with a variety of other sensing technologies. With specific engineering expertise that includes the development of gyroscope technologies, gyro-compass systems, Kalman filter design, and sensor fusion; Inertial Labs engineers combine practical experience with PhD level academic knowledge.
The Inertial Labs Single and Dual Antenna GPS-Aided Inertial Navigation System – INS is new generation of fully-integrated, combined L1 & L2 GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and BEIDOU navigation and high-performance strapdown system, that determines positions, altitude, velocity, heave and absolute orientation (Heading, Pitch and Roll) for any device on which it is mounted. Horizontal and Vertical Position, Velocity, Heave and Orientation are determined with high accuracy for both motionless and dynamic applications.
The Inertial Labs INS utilizes advanced GNSS receiver, barometer, 3-axes each of calibrated in full operational temperature range precision Fluxgate magnetometers, tactical grade Accelerometers, and Gyroscopes to provide accurate Position, Velocity, Heading, Pitch and Roll of the device under measure.
INS contains Inertial Labs new on-board sensors fusion filter, state of the art navigation and guidance algorithms and calibration software. State-of-the-art algorithms for different dynamic motions of Vessels, Ships, Helicopters, UAV, UUV, UGV, AGV, ROV, Gimbals and Land Vehicles
IMU-P is new generation of compact size (39 x 45 x 22 mm), low weight (70 gram), high performance and cost effective Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that is an ITAR-free solution for systems that only had FOG’s as an alternative when reaching for the performance level that IMU-P can offer. It contains 3 highly accurate Advanced MEMS gyroscopes and 3 ultra high performance accelerometers.
The IMU-P is factory fully calibrated and compensated over its operating temperature range.
The Inertial Labs Attitude and Heading Reference Systems are enhanced, high-performance strapdown systems, that determines absolute orientation (Heading, Pitch and Roll) and Heave for any device on which it is mounted. Orientation is determined with high accuracy for both motionless and dynamic applications.
The Inertial Labs AHRS utilizes 3-axes each of precision accelerometers, magnetometers and gyroscopes to provide accurate Heave, Heading and Attitude of the device under measure. Integration of gyroscopes’ output provides high frequency, real-time measurement of the device rotation about all three rotational axes. Accelerometers and Fluxgate magnetometer measure absolute Pitch, Roll and magnetic Azimuth at AHRS initial alignment as well as providing ongoing corrections to gyroscopes during operation.
State-of-the-art algorithms for different dynamic motions of Vessels, Ships, ROV, UUV, Robots, UAV, UGV, AGV, Gimbals and Antennas
