From a customer’s perspective, our Engineering Services team totally understand how important GNSS technology is to regional users. Whether it’s defence, or mission critical industrial application our Engineering Support team are here to help. Operations support is offered in many different forms in response to many different project types.
Different Support Options offered:
Once off fault find and advise: This would typically be on a case by case basis as required when a GNSS fault has a risen and the customer hasn’t either the required equipment to isolate the problem, nor the skill to resolve the issue.
Irregular Operations and Maintenance Review: This would typically be on a case by case basis where the customer is either unhappy with their existing system, or, are seeking an independent GNSS system maintenance /operations review. Are there operational or near future maintenance issues, or could the existing system be further enhanced.
Routine Monitoring, Inspections and Telephone Support: This service would typically be delivered under a formal support contract. As per an agreed schedule (negotiated separately), routine monitoring, site inspections and maintenance reports would be generated. As parts of the system require repair or replacement, the required parts would be dispatched.
Different Project Types:
GPSat Project or Goods: This activity would be associated with either goods or technologies that the company has provided previously which is now out of warranty. Using one of the different support options nominated above the company continues to maintain the system in optimum condition.
Third Party Project or Goods: This activity would be associated with either goods or technologies that the company hasn’t provided and for whatever reason (supplier no longer trading, international supplier issues, etc), the project is now effectively unsupported. Again, using one of the different support options nominated above the company would agree to maintain the system in an operational condition.
